Is there anyone who can help me translate the sentense as follows: Some subcultures do not experience discrimination yet differ from the mainstream enough to generate a "we" feeling among members and a sense of separatenses. Thanks!

Do you mean to expound the thought? Here is how I understood it, in sociology it is given that in general society there is a shared culture among them. Culture is basically defined as "shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterizes an institution, organization or group" (source:wikipedia). Now the general culture has also subculture on it, or others call it clique for instance you will be identified with people whom you can share with same set of belief or interest hence, your clique have something separate from those in general. I hope I was able to share a bit of thought for what I understand in your query.
