Teaching English as a foreign language is an energe-taking job, for most of the learners are so deeply rooted in their mind with their mother tongue. Most of the time, no sooner did I teach my students a new word than they would "deform" it and change it into the word of their own language and keep it in their mind. So, for more than 10 years, some learners can still make no good sentences in English. Recently, I showed them some very short sentences 'cause the words were very easy like: move, sink... I had given them sentences as: Move, you are dead./ He is so tired from his secretary work, when he comes home he sinks into his chair. As a result out of my expectation, these sentences work on my students a lot. They like them and ask me to give them more sentences of that sort. So, now I have some more words and I need help to make sentences with them. They are: manual, collar, sacrifice, privilege, dustman, corporation, overalls, shower, secret and status. I would appreciate any kind of sentences. Thanks!
