First of all I have to say that it is not easy for the big size people to shop for their cloths. A few days ago, I went to a shopping complex to buy a pair of trousers for myself. I tried a few sizes and normally size 42 waist just fit my waist but amazingly I found out that different brand has different size for 42...

Oh yes, sizing is different with every brand..That's why you need to make sure you try things on before you buy them! Or, if you're buying online, or without trying them on, make sure you know how the sizes work at the store or brand you're buying it from. I can wear any size between 11 and 14 (US) in a brand, depending on how the fit is. It's kind of discouraging that all brands don't just have a standard size that we could go by!

I'm currently wearing size 5, but sometimes I find a jeans I like, it fits me in the waist but it is not long enough I hate that. I really don't even understand jean sizes, they should make finding a jeans easier.

Styles, different materials and quality of materials do vary in size. So we simply cannot get away with not trying them on before we purchase them.

most of branded clothes have standardized sizes. however, this may vary depending on the type of cloth used for the apparel. i suggest that you fit it first in front of the mirror before you buy it to avoid hassle. there are clothing line exclusively for big size people like you. try to look for it in the malls or even in the internet. :)
