what would you do if someone cry over you?

I have a male friend who recently approached me very afraid,it's known,I was ignorant person,so I know baseball if he really likes me,When I said I've got people I love, she suddenly cried,he said with a somewhat indifferent attitude of my,he believed that if I have baseball people that I liked,he really looked shock,I became baseball heart,but not anymore,how? I have a feeling like baseball at all to him.sometimes I felt I was bad at all,Such events often occur often in my life,I really do not understand. what they like from me? what should I do? how do you think?
