There is a 22 year old woman who graduated this summer that is working for us. Her name is Casey and she thinks she is to good for the job! She works in the kitchen. She waitesses when we have buffets and other parties. She also works the serving line and helps out in pantry. Lately Casey has been complaining she has a degree and the job she has in beneath her! Yes she has a degree but if she looks out in the world she will have a very hard time getting a job in her dergree which is socialogy. Casey needs am attitude adjustment! She should count her blessings and realize having a any job at this time in priceless! Do you have someone at work like her?

The key to sucess with any employee is to realize that these days no job is too small and or too big, so as long as we do a great job.
You know what I think and really want to say to people like Casey, dear you can simply quit as I know plenty of people who would love your job.
I have encountered many people like this and well they either eventually adjust and or move on and be yet more miserable.

Hi Blue,
Currently, I am not working with anyone like that but I have in the past. It's just silly. They complain and yet no one is forcing them to work at these jobs. I don't understand the complaining. Obviously, they could not find a job in their field and at least they have a job. I'm sure it is frustrating to spend all that money on education for a career and then not be able to get a job in that field but it happens. Jobs are just really hard to come by right now. Just having a job at all is a blessing these days.

I guess there's a lot of a kind in every work place.
And,yes you are right, instead of being thankful for having a job specially when they can't find job with the degree that they major in,yet they complain.
it's not easy to find job everywhere and to be hired soon as we need a job.
I applied with two different companies before i was hired, and i know it's a tough competition before i passed and get the job.
Have a greet weekend

I think she should not plain it always. Maybe a little complaint is normal to a woman with degree, but much is harmful for her.
If she want to get a better job, she should understand what job sociology is suitable.

Hahaha, very nice to hear this, but how much you are paying to this degree holder, it seems that she is your sis or daughter but any way I think it is good for her if she havenot any other job, she should be thankful to you that you have given her this job, because now a days it is difficult to find job with just a degree, she should earn some experience in your kitchen then should go for any job. I like this that how much you are kind to her...:)
Any way best of luck for her, what is going to cook for dinner...:)

Casey is not my sister or my daughter! Yikes! Anyway Casey should be thankful for her job! I beleive she has no idea how hard it is to find a job she has a degree in! Lots of young people are like Casey! It is sad!
