Browsing the Internet on your IPad or IPod

Lately, I have come across a lot of people who prefer browsing the internet on their ipod or ipad, vs their cell phone. Well, that is what I prefer as well, when you do it on your phone you always have internet access vs your ipod, you have to have a wifi connection. What do you prefer?
