I did not have the opportunity of visiting Vietnam but my daughter was there for a fortnight. She stayed in Ho Chi Min city. She was praising Ho Chi Min city a lot. These are her observations: 1. That the people are friendly and helpful. 2. That the people dress up well. 3. That the people are beautiful. 4. That the roads are good. 5. She could get vegetarian food with some adjustment like boiled vegetables and easy cooking stuff which she requested them to make. She said she will take me to Ho Chi Min city one day. I am waiting for that day.

Yes, I have been to Vietnam, the beautiful Ho Chi Minh City. I was certainly very impressed with Mekong River too. I spent 3 days in Ho Chi Minh City. The people are very friendly and very courteous. BTW : your English is fine. You are communicating well. Have a nice day !

Killer1VN, In the course of my work, I have been to your country for quite a number of occasion to Ho Chi Minh City. I must say that your country is indeed going through the paces of becoming another developed country. I have also had the privilege to tour some of the other cities after finishing my work where I have visited Na Thrang,Danang and Hanoi where I have to say that Halong Bay was indeed memorably enjoyable. I do not really like the city centers because of the heavy traffic and the resultant pollutions. I really hope that the situation will improve as this is really bad for the overall environment when this is going to be kept at this pace. I understand that your sister is working as a travel agent and you get a chance to travel aboard with her when she is on tour assignment. So, I do not suppose we can look for her to assist us in booking tours or hotel accommodations for domestic Vietnam which is what I need when I visit on leisure. Have a nice day.

Vietnam is a country i had never considered for travel before. i am sure it has wonderful things to share. A lot of people still think of war when they think of this country. i wonder if we visited this country if our views would change.

I have been to Saigon 4 years ago. And I would definitely go back again. I wanna take a train ride to the country side. It seems exciting and some says it has a beautiful view. I would also like to see Halong Bay and stay on your traditional boat for one night. How I wish I could go there already. I miss the food and the coffee... Love it...
