Do you think that astrological transits play a role in determining your moods of the day? I often think so, I have had so many Saturn and Pluto transits this year, and it's not like I'm going at my best time right now :( Do you feel the same way?

Dear Matie I do believe in astrology however, it's the Indian Vedic Astrology that I've been studying and trying to understand for past two years. According to what I've discovered so far, Astrology is a tool to get an idea of what "may" happen in the future, depending on your past karmas. A vedic chart or horoscope is nothing but the total sum of all the karmas performed by your soul in your past several births. Based on this data, we can make "educated" guesses as to what can happen in the future. However, it's entirely upto us, as to what we do with that 'warnings' n 'information' given to us by the astrologer. If you know that your saturn, during one of its transits is going to negatively influence your moon, then you must start doing something in advance to overcome that effect. Don't live in the illusion, that planets are above us and they control us. And don't even think that everything is predestined and preplanned. According to the great Indian sages, even God wants a human being to improve his or her fortune. That's why God created this wonderful tool of astrology to atleast get an idea of what's coming ahead. As far as depression is concerned, it just shows that your moon is either natively weak or is under some bad influence during one of the transits or dashas. A simple remedy to cure moon is to drink lots of water, increase your intake of calcium (best is Milk with green cardomoms) and respect your Mom, no matter how bad or unjust she may appear. If you want to get rid of depression, stress etc, you'll have to do this.....There are specific remedies to make specific planets strong. I just listed the simple moon remedy. If you want more, i can help you.. regds.

hi, Is that true I really don't know about it. I do believe in astrology to some extent. But I don't know that planets affect our moods and mind too. It is really a news to me. I have seen people in deep problems because of their bad timing running in their birth chart. And they wear some rings and stones and come out of those bad times or at least have a sigh of relief. The people who have I seen are mostly in financial crisis and relationship problems because of their bad times. Thank you for giving me new information.

I don't think astrology has anything to do with depression. Depression is caused by previous experiences that happened to us and how we evaluate them.

The short answer is no, astrology has not been proved scientifically to work according to what most mainstream scientists would accept as proof. This is definitely not the end of the debate. Some research has been done using meta-analyses and other statistical methods, which should be accepted by most scientists if well done and thorough. Oddly, many scientists refuse to look at any type of work associated with astrology. Astrology is meant to be learned from and have fun with. To try to prove it's worthiness in the place of science is simply a waste of time.

Sorry mattie, I don't believe in any of that stuff. After suffering from the symptoms of clinical depression for years, I can tell you that it was all due to a chemical imbalance in my brain. Planets, stars, the atmosphere, etc. have nothing to do with it.
