Call of Duty...the obsession???

Ok please tell me the obsession with CODMW2(Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2) My brother, fiance, and other guy friends are constantly playing! You do the same thing every map and everytime playing online.
Can someone please tell me what is so addicting about this game?!?!
I'm so tired of hearing ROCK THE BEAT, COVER ME I'M RELOADING, UAV ONLINE, TARGET NEUTRALIZED and blah blah blah

eheheh i ma not so addicted to call of duty but i must confess that sometimes i ply me too on my pc...it is a coll games about war...you should try it!!

I have tried to play it a few times on the PS3 and I just don't like it. It's just not a game that I enjoy, quite frankly I was bored by it and stopped playing after like 10 minutes lol. :o)
