yesterday, we went to the farm to attend birthday party. Few hours was fine and so busy for the preparation. When the night is falling, slowly i get bored. So, i listened to my favorite tracts( which i don't usually use the gadget). I wanted to use my phone to ease the boredom but the network coverage is zero and i was so bad trip plus my mom decided to stay for an overnight and it pissed me off. My night was was totally disaster. I tried so hard to look for a signal, i climbed trees, find the right spot and claimed my aunt house under construction hoping to find cell coverage for my network provider. Have you tried going to a place where the network is no avail and you are expecting some important calls or SMS? Can you stand overnight without using your phone??? For me,i can, but depending on whom i'm with.

haha =D YEah, i have experience that situation too. We have taken for granted that coverage is everywhere but when we realised that, it's way too late. I will be as anxious too, looking everywhere for signal, even it's just a bar, and i'm content with it.. lol =D BUt what frustrates me is that, signal going on and off when talking on the phone! The distort signal makes me just wanna hang up the call.. lol =D

Hang up? Or throw the phone? Have you ever noticed that after that bad conversation because of the poor network coverage your mood is affected? Often i ma like that especially if the call is important or wanting my SMS to be send but to no avail.

Yeah i always have that experience but i just get used to it. In our province there's no signal in all 3 big/leading network provider here in our country. It really sucks! At first it really pissed me off, even for the second time nor the third, the fourth, but for almost 15 years of visiting our province i then get used to it. I tell my friends or whoever i need to inform when i'm about to go to the province so they won't be worried like they can't reach me for almost 2-3weeks. It's hard but i have no choice, business is my purpose in going back there.

Whoa! Can you stand that long? That really sucks! Is it far from the city? Cause the place were we visited is only a 30 minutes ride away from down town. Network coverage is not only the problem but also television signal that's why i hate staying there for long. I hope in time if my parents will decide to retire there i just wish that in time it will be okay by then.

It took around 12-14 hours to get there. Yeah it sucks but just like what I've said, i don't have a choice.

I am used to that kind of situation especially in this place where I live. One mile away from the home means a disaster for my cell phone coverage. I will have to forget that I am having a cell phone or rather it is better to leave my cell phone at home as it will become an excess baggage when it can serve no purpose. When I am in that situation, I try to divert my attention by chatting with others so I won't feel bored.

At first i was a little bit okay cause my cousins was all there but before the party started they all went home and the one was left is a bit antisocial and the rest of the guest were oldies. If only my nieces and nephews was all there i think I'll be happy spending the night playing with the kids.

I agree that it would make you feel bad in a place where there is no singal for cell phones, especially when you are waiting for some important calls. It can be very frustrating though. I have had the same experience as you did last night. Take care.

I don't consider my self a techie but i do love gadgets and i love spending time using my phone or using computer. I think I'll be little fine if my laptop is with me even if there's no internet connection as long as it's with me. Nah...on a second thought i prefer staying at home where i can do whatever i want. My comfort zone.

I can relate to your frustration! I recently changed cell phone provider because I had virtually no coverage from my own house! It was so darn annoying! The provider told me that we live in a ‘black spot’ and the fact that we have a tin roof does not help. Grrr! I have a new provider now and I can finally use my phone. Reception here may not be one hundred per cent but at least we have one!

I have several complaints with regards to that and the CSR also told me the same. Every time i call the line is so chappy and it irritates me so badly. Me and my partner always end up irritated and sometimes end up fighting. I tried other units thinking it may improve the coverage but it worsen.
