I've been to the movies alone a few times in my life and I don't think that there is anything at all wrong with going to the movies without having someone with you. The main reason that I feel this way is because of the fact that the cinema is not really a place where you are able to be social because you have to be quiet while the movie is playing. In addition to that, there are a lot of times that it is easier to find a seat when you are alone than it is to find a seat when you go with a group of other people.

I did tried watching movie in a cinema alone. The movie was A Walk to remember. I really wanted to watch it so bad, no one is available to see the movie with me that's why i decided to go alone. I did enjoy being alone because i was able to concentrate watching and i watched it 3 times and cried 3 times. I loved the movie.

I often watch in a cinema alone. There's no strange feeling at all since I'm used to it. Most of the time I don't want someone to accompany in a cinema especially if I'll be watching a top rated movie. Thanks

Actually it happens to m quite often.:) I prefer to go to the cinema in the early afternoon when almost no people around. And at times I am really all alone. It feels like you have your private showing room. No guys with "funny" speach around nobody throws pop-corn into your neck.:) But I also like the crowded version especially when it comes to comedy. Its good to laugh together.

Yes, I have tried it twice. Usually I don't go alone, because it's slightly boring without any companions to share the laughter and opinions about the movie. I went alone because there is an free ticket offer for people during their birth month. However, we can only choose certain movie at certain time. Therefore, it's not easy to find companions for these type of movies and thus I choose to go alone. However, it's another kind of experience to watch the movie alone. I can concentrate on it without any interruption Happy posting and have nice day!

No, I have never been to the movies by myself. I would feel awkward going to watch a movie by myself. I would go by myself if I was desperate to watch a movie that I really want to go watch but that has never happened.. I usually will wait for a couple of friends and my boyfriend to watch the movie.

yup several times it gets kinda boring at times when you laugh at a certain scene and there is noone around to laugh with you. or if your watching a horror film there is noone there to scream or be freaked out with. Tch thats life for you which is why i just prefer to buy it and watch it when it comes out on the dvd and see it with my sister.
