Have you ever been to Budapest

Budapest has this old world charm, I like this place.

I have traveled to beautiful Budapest. I was 18 years old on my way around Europe. I traveled there by train. I stayed in room in the home of a local older couple. I loved seeing the river and the old buildings. In the evening I went to the opera house and had a very enjoyable time. For a day out I took a train out to a lakeside village. That was a fascinating day because I saw the inside of a palace. It was the last year that British people needed a visa to visit Hungary. Hungary was the first country in Eastern Europe that I visited. I found prices low and Budapest a really lovely city. I bought a costume doll there and it is one of the dolls in my collection. I was in my mid twenties by the time I managed to travel to Prague in the Czech Republic and Krakow in Poland. I was in my thirties before I managed to visit Bulgaria and Romania. Budapest is one of my favorite of the European cities that I have been to.

No, but my sister lived there for 6 months for school. She really liked it and I have heard many good things about the city otherwise too. So I really want to go!
