Funny and redundant!

I am watching "The Lost Boys" for the upteenth time. It just struck me funny when the young kid says to his older brother: "Look in the mirror, Micheal. You're a creature of the night! Wait til I tell mom!" Is that not the most silly, funny and redundant thing? I wondered(and I am sure there are) if there weren't other statements like this in your favorite old scarey movies. Like when Dracula asks the main character home to dinner. Ya, like that! What is your favorite one?

the only thing i can think of right now in scarey movies thats really dumb is how the people (especially the women) will go into places and do things that just dont make sense. i mean, you are sitting there saying, hey, get the heck out of there or dont do that!! and you know you would never be that stupid. right? they make women seem so dumb some times. after while i'll probably think of something said, but cant just now..lol.

I do the same thing. Delete the discussion cause I can't think of anything and then I think of something. They do make women out to be dumn in the movies don't they. And the writer has to have somebody do something the audience is going to yelp and say No! Don't do that! Like in this movie tonight I just watched. Texas Chainsaw Massacre Again! The dark haired girl goes back in after she is at the door and the camera shows outside and she could get away but, no she hears her friend screaming upstairs and goes to help her. Heroic but she loses her life too.
