Oh my...there are lots and lots of olive oil in the store rack for olive olive oil. They were labeled differently aside from their brand... like virgin or extra virgin.. what is this? cared to share some of your opinions? I would like to get it straight from those people who cook their food with olive oil... Thanks for dropping by and any comment is highly appreciated...

Olive oil is an oil of high nutrition. But I don't cook with oliver oil. I often use oliver oil to care my hair ,it can make my hair much more straight and easy to comb. Once I hear from one of my friend that oiliver oil is quite good for the development of child's brain. So if you are pregnant, you can cook by oliver oil so that you child would be much more smarter than his teenagers.

You sound like a smart girl and so I will give you some facts about olive oil but not all the facts as you need to do all kinds of research to understand foods and health. The best kind of olive oil is the extra extra extra pure 100 % organic virgin olive oil as it is the first batch when pressing so it is the richest. If you could make your own olive oil it is the wisest. Remember though, if it has no preservatives it will spoil very fast so buy the smallest bottle possible and in a dark bottle. Since cooking destroys a lot of the nutrients and benefits of the oil and other foods, best to cook a minimum or not at all. Best to add the olive oil after cooking if you must cook. Olive oil is 100 % fat so should be used sparingly, as too much fat in our diet is not good for our health. Learn as much as you can and then use moderation. Live long and be healthy!

Hi melcaden0916, I use olive oil a lot, but not for every dish I cook. For example, I can't stand french fries made with olive oil, but it's a matter of taste, some people like them... so try and see what you like. Virgin and extra virgin olive oil is good for cooking, but especially for salads. You can try the one with flavors and see how you like it (my favorite one is with rosemary, but I also buy sometimes with garlic or with oregano). If you want to cook something fried or stir fried, then use refined or extra light olive oil. It's considered healthier than vegetable oil. I've heard that people who eat by the so-called Mediterranean diet eat about one small cup of olive oil each day!
