I LOVE Passing Out Candy To Kids During Halloween=^..^=!

A few years back I was at this mall during Halloween. All the trick or treaters were there getting candy as they were waling from store to store. I thought, "What a great idea!"
Malls had just started doing this because it was becoming more and more dangerous for kids to be out at night like that walking the neighborhoods.
I decided to go into one of my favorite restaurants there and ask to speak with the manager. I talked with him about the possibility of letting me hand out candy to the kids to help free up his workers and in return they can simply give me free Coke for as long as the trick or treaters are here. He said yes!
I had so much fun handing out candy to the kids and looking at all their cute and 'scary' costumes! It was a blast!
The free Coke was a nice perk too, but, those kids were the best!

I always enjoyed giving out the candy to trick or treaters in our neighborhood. it was always interesting to see thier different costumes. some of them had a lot of imagination.@kellyjeanne (1576)

It's great, isn't it? Last night I had about 400 kids and teens come by my house and I enjoyed it so much! There were fewer than last year because last year I ran out of candy--this year I have a little left over.
I don't understand people who don't enjoy this night. My neighbor turns off all his lights and stays upstairs in his bedroom. A few of my other neighbors keep their lights off, too, so they won't be "bothered". They don't know what they are missing!

I know! Just looking at all those kids and handing them candy really satisfies the 'kid' in me.
Right now I live in an apartment complex and families aren't allowed and I really MISS sitting at the door with my bag of candy handing out the candy and looking at all the cute costumes!
