I don't know why, but, awhile back, for the better part of a few years I was collecting stickers. I guess it's the kid in me. I just love stickers! Well, around Halloween time I got this great idea to buy little baggies and put in them stickers, decorated pencils, little activity books, different colored erasers, balloons and other fun stuff and hand the baggies out to the kids! You should have seen the kids' faces as I gave each one a baggie! Their eyes would widen and say thanks as if it was just the coolest thing to ever get on Halloween! I really do think they enjoyed those baggie treats more than the candy! When the parents' saw what I was handing out they were so appreciative and thanked me for giving their kids something other than tooth decaying candy! From then on I decided to do it every year when I was able to! Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija P.S. Sorry about the mix up on the titles of some of the discussions I've recently posted. This is the real post that goes with the title I gave it.

That's a great idea but stickers are so expensive! Maybe I'll start collecting stuff for next year--I get a lot of samples and "gifts" through the mail like that. Spending a couple of dollars a week at the dollar store or taking advantage of some cheap rolls of stickers at yard sales and stuff would equal what I spend on candy!

Just do what I did, dragon. I'd only buy a sheet or two of stickers once a month or even every two months and before you know it, you'll have a whole mess of stickers! Try it and see what happens! For really cheap stickers go to orientaltrading.com. I get their e-mails plus catalogs in the mail. They have all sorts of great stuff, hon! Check them out before mylot decides to delete this response! LOL! Have a great day, dragon! Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija
