I have seen so many parents trying to make choices for their children when it comes to marriage. Would you allow your parents to make these choices?

Definitely not. This is archaic and wrong and my parents have several unhappy marriages between them so they canĀ“t choose for me. I want a marriage based on love not just whoever happens to be handy from my parentsĀ“ point of view. I have been with someone for 6 years and we are very happy. My parents like him a lot. We might marry, we might not, but it will be our choice.

Hell No, I choose. They arent(in theory) going to be living with that person, sleeping with that person for the rest of their life. I am. And about time I'm an adult, which is 18. I make my own choices, esepcially as one like this that would change my life forever.

Absolutely not! I'm the one who's going to live with the man of my life and not my parents!!!! Okey, it's nice if they like him :-)
My parents are satisfied by the love of my life :-) (the man whom I'm married to for 10 years next tuesday...)

I won't definitely NOT let my parents choose the right person for me to marry. It is MY LIFE and I am the one who will stay with that person and not them. SO I want someone who I really like to have a harmonious relationship till the end of time.
