I was asked this question during the panel interview when I applied in a call call center last week and I answered them the most important is attendance because if you don't have attendance you will not be able to produce your metrics as well. Does anyone has better answer than mine?

Yes you do have a great answer. To back it up more, having a good attendance is not being learned. It is really innate within you if you are being responsible going to your work on time. And you can really be reliable in any way. Having a good metrics will just come along with great practice and being spontaneous.

Your answer's right!! I was also asked same question when I applied at my first call center job, even here in my second call center company. You hit it! It's true that you can't produce good metrics if you don't have good attendance. "Attendance is a must" we should always remember that famous line. And call center companies are really strict when it comes to your work presence. I dntknow with your company, my superiors won't care if your sick..what's important to them is our presence! - our attendance!
