Well this kind of question is a very tricky question. The best way to answer this kind of question is to do some sugarcoating. Take for example my response to your question:
I am a workaholic person and because of that I can't be able to hang out with friends and do some socialization.
The response that I have just given is some kind of a cover that I am not into making friends because of my workaholic aspect.
Another tip is to suck it up and be natural in responding to questions.
Trust me, I am a 19 year old kid and I passed a call center interview even though I only finished 2 years of college education.

Okay i will try my best to answer here, as i really do not have such question answered before, for me, maybe it is not good to mention your weaknesses, specially those that would affect your performance when you are hired... Perhaps you can answer it smartly never pointing out such discouraging weaknesses. Of course all of us are not perfect, maybe the perfect one is, to say that every weakness that you have, you are trying to note it, then change it for something strength the next time around. Goodluck and happy mylotting!

Dear Angelbelle, First and fore most thing you should know what are the various Strong points one can have and what are the weak points one can have. Now jot down these points and after jotting honestly see what are the points which are closely resembling your personality and prepare your answer accordingly. I am 50 year old man I need to recruit several candidates to work on a farm. While interviewing one can easily make out if the candidate facing the interview is telling the truth or not. Never try to impress the interviewer with false claims or with false information. If suspected you can easily be trapped in your own trap! So best thing would be , be natural, be brave and be honest in answering the questions that are darted by your interviewer.
For your ready reckoner I can put some strong points of an individual as - Honesty, hard working, friendly approach,Thinking positive, Punctuality, Adaptability, Taking the challenges, Extrovert nature,Docile temperament, Pleasing personality, Sweet tongue, Expertise in the relevant field, Work experiences, Interesting Hobbies, Patience etc.
Similarly some weaknesses observed in an individual can be - Take it easy attitude, Egoism, Habitual Late Comer, Short temper, Dishonesty, Negative thinking, Introvert nature, attitude complex, Loud in talking, reacting violently on small day to day issues, to be weak in relevant field of work, hiding the facts etc.
Now from the above points you can select a few and then you can make your own answer and remember don't mention the points which are not applicable to you, as I said earlier , you may be in soup then!
Wish you all the best for your next week's interview! Thanks !

haha =D Everybody has got their own strength and weakness. There's no right or wrong answers too. Because whatever strength we have, might be a weakness in the eyes of employers. SO in order to score well in an interview, u must think in the level of being boss, and think what's expected of the employee in the company.. haha =D
Try to promote yourself more, but also say u are a team player. ANd if u can, make your strong point as your weakness too, depending on situations u are in. In that way, u wont reveal too much about yourself, yet u can impress them.. haha

Just be true with your answer.
Think about your weakness and say that you are working with it.
That you are an adaptable person, and can easily to adjust with situations.
About your strength don't be too over confident, again,be simple and natural.
You can cite your true strength and say that you are a kind of person who faces challenges in life with positive mind and that you consider failure/s as an inspiration to motivate yourself to pursue your goals and aim in life.
goodluck and have a great day always

If you're applying for a job, you should think about it really well. You can't just tell your strengths and weaknesses here like you would if you're with a friend. Be mindful of what you say.
Of course, if you would say your strengths, make sure it is something that adds points to your job. For example, if you're applying as a nurse, one of your strengths must be that you're not scare of seeing blood, dealing with patients with horrible conditions, always calm but alert, etc. Make sure that the strengths you say will qualify you for the job.
But also, be honest with your weaknesses. If you think you have something that might interfere with your work and you say it, make sure you also add the efforts you make to overcome such and what success you've had so far and how much more can people expect you to improve.
Regarding the strengths, make sure you tell them your real strengths. Your employer might expect too much from you if tell them too much good things and very little bad things. They might not hire you also because people can sense if you're telling the truth.

I like to think my strengths lie in how I approach life. My weaknesses would be the things I'm afraid to take on.

Haha I always got this question every time I interview. The Human Resource Manager or the Manager who interview me always exactly ask this freaking question.
I will answer it, my strength is my knowledge, my expertise, my skill, my desire, my good behavior, my willing to learn and ability to be humble when my senior teach me some thing. My weakness is my perfectionism.
Sometime my answer work for me, some time they done. Depend on the person who interview me.
