Hello, mylotters. There are many different kinds of soaps to choose from, and just to name a few are Dove or Aveeno. I use Aveeno because it's soft, and helps hydrate my skin. So, that bears the question. What brand of soap do you use when you shower (or wash your hands)?

Homemade soap, eh? Sometimes, if you have good homemade soap, then you won't need to buy one. I think that some soaps are very high in pH (because soap is a basic solution) and you should be really careful how you choose something.
Happy mylotting.

I use Dove. I tried all other brands but they all broke me out except Dove and I don't know why?

Dove breaks me out, and it makes my skin stink.
Every body is different, we all have a slightly different chemical make up. It is great there are so many products on the market now. Most everyone can find something to use.

Lately, I've been alternating between Ivory and Oil of Olay. Usually, it would be Dove but seeing as they were on sale, it's still a great product.
Soaps like Oil of Olay and Dove are kinda hard to wash off because of the extra moisturizer. I use those when I shower at night. When I'm in a hurry though, I use Ivory.

I have sensitive skin. It gets dry sometimes. The only soap I use are either Dove or Nivea. Lately I've tried using Olay and it's good for my skin too. I just like the feel of my skin after bathing. I feel so refreshed by the cool scent of it. ^_^

I like to swtich every once in awhile because they claim you should. I do this not only with hand soap but also shampoo as well. I tend to use Caress the most I like the way it feels on my skin. I get it on sale mostly so I can save money.

I mainly just use body wash, except for things like washing hands and whatnot. We use whatever brand we've got at the time with that.. Usually like SoftSoap or something cheap like that. For body wash, I love how Dove and Victoria Secret body washes smell..Mmmm!

I use and have used for years Dr. Bronner's soap. it is made with organic oils and my favourite is tee tree style. It is shampoo and conditioner in one bottle. It is made in Escondido,California. It is 100% organic and sold at health food stores.i use it for shampoo, body soap, dish soap and to clean things around the house. It is the only soap i use i don't trust commercial brands soap for it is full of petroleum products.

Well, i don't have any brand preference but i mostly use "Pears" soap. Its a good soap and it suits my skin. Its a good soap and doesn't dry my skin.
And for hand-wash, a simple local brand soap is used.

Since I sell Avon, I try to use the brand exclusively. However, they quit making the bar soap so now for the bar soap I use Pears. It is very inexpensive and smells nice. I also noticed in conjunction with the Skin So Soft lotions and oils, it also helps to keep the bugs from biting.
I use shower gel almost every day, but I have a weird tick that I don't feel clean if I just use the gel, so I use the bar soap first, then use the gel. I love Avon shower gel! I soo miss the bar soap they used to sell. I wish they would come back with it.

At the moment I am using some soaps from the French brand L'Occitane. They are a bit more expensive than regular soaps, but I buy them off Ebay, so they are still not that expensive. And they smell just great!
I really like Dove and any Nivea product too, though!
