What is your favorite Bible chapter, and why? Mine is chapter 8 of Romans, because if I look at the Bible as if it were a cathedral, then Romans would be the dome of the cathedral, and chapter 8 would be the highest spire of that dome. Thus, in Romans 8 I feel closer to God than in any other chapter.

I also love the Psalms, my favorite being Psalm 51...a Psalm that explains the method for personal and national redemption. All the Psalms are wonderful, and being blank verse they are sooo poetic!

Mine would be the story of Job because as much pain and suffering with lost he went through, he stayed faithful to God and did not blame God or ask why him? when things were so bad...He is truly a follower of Jesus Christ. :)

Could you expound on using a priestly blessing spoken over your family? I find that fascinating.

Jesus said that the two greatest commandments was to love God and to love our fellow man. 1 Corinthians 13 is the love chapter. We would do well to knit it tightly to the reins of our heart.

Jesus weeping shows us so much about how He lived His life and how we ought to live ours that the verse portraying Jesus' incredibly sensitive action, John 11:35, shouldn't be written off as just the shortest verse or the easiest verse to memorize. Everyone should be honored to memorize such a verse. It is my favorite verse in the Bible.

Is it not our unbelief that causes Him to weep? The more we weep, the closer we get to Jesus, and the more we believe.
