Last night, I got an alert from the Windows defender, I was infected with Trojan virus, and it informed me to take action immediately from Windows Update. So, I apply the Windows defender to delete those files infected Trojan, and I believe one of the file was Win 32. When I reboot the Windows again, the initial error message pop up is that Win 32.exe wasn't found. Maybe it is not really vital to the system, but I still have some worry about my Windows 7. Is there anyway I can download this Win 32 app again online, and replace the old one I removed? Please help!

if your trojan virus is cannot be removed... the best solution is FULL FORMAT your pc, but if you have a good anti virus you can use it first...

That will be too much hassle for me. I already found the solution, I download this freeware called freefixer, and it scan the whole system, and I delete the win32\sshnas21.dll from the registry, then it is gone. The error message at the start up also gone too.

yes you can, if your having the recovery cd, boot it up and select repair option it would repair system files. it not new, repair option had been started from windows xp or the other option is using system restore, this may or may not work. you can ask windows to update, some time it detects the fault by itself and download the file.

I had this same problem last week. When I scanned with AVG,it said my system was clean but PrevX said I had an infection and showed me where it was located.
I found the friggin file and deleted it but it kept coming back like a zombie no matter how many times I deleted it and emptied the recycle bin.
I had to get my brother who is better at technology than I am to fix it and it took him over an hour.He said something about putting the comp on Safe Mode and using a program called Hijackthis to delete it.So glad I didn't have to reboot in the end because all my stuffs on my comp.

Win32.exe is a trojan and should be deleted. I think in your case Windows Defender tried to deleted it, but didn't deleted right if it's showing you an error message. I recommend to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, upgraded it, restart your computer, and boot it to Safe mode. Then run a scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Walware. It should detected Win32.exe and should be able to remove it.
