I am wondering about Halloween traditions in other countries. What did you kids do on Oct 31st? My kids dressed up in costumes and wetn around to other houses getting treats from neighbours. Treats are usually bags of chips, bars or suckers.

Well I thought that this would be the first year without any trick or treating. We live outside a little village and as there is only us here don't get any trick or treaters. Other yeras I have had parties or gone home to where my grandkids live and taken them out. However at 7.00 last night my 14 year old son informed me his mate was coming to stay the night, when he arrived they both donned costumes and walked into the village. I was amazed with the amount of goodies they came back with an hour and a half later!!

Yes me and my wife took our 2 kids out trick or treating around our local area aswell as to my parents house. My kids went out dressed up as a skeleton pirate and a colourful witch, they enjoyed going around knocking on other peoples doors and getting little treats like small bags of sweets/candy and a few bags of chocolate.

I do not have any kids but if I did, I would bring them trick or treating. My cousins went trick or treating though :) Glad your kids got goodies! Happy Halloween!

I live in the United States, Southern California to be exact and kids here do go Trick or Treating. I don't have kids of my own but my niece and nephew who live with me- they went trick or treating. They got candy and some popcorn chips. My niece dressed up as a Princess and my nephew dressed as Superman, it was adorable! :) Hope your family had a great Halloween!
