I want to change my life for the better end of things - financially, emotionally and physically!
In one year's time, I'd like to achieve the following.
I want to be more productive!
I want to create 100 at least lens for Squidoo! (passive income stream)
I want to surpass 1,700 articles on Helium! (currently, I have 615)
I want to surpass $500 in monthly residual earnings -- at least $750 overall, a month. (on an average, I earn $250-400 a month online)
I want to be physically fit! -- I'm slim but my tummy isn't, so much for nightlife!
I want to be more honest with my dealings with people -- I recently failed a relationship because I simply wasn't honest.
I want to write an e-book of my own!
I want to start a brick and mortar business!
I want to finish my studies (48 units away from finishing my managerial accountancy degree)
This is my personal vow, wish me luck!

Hi louierrific,
Firstly I wish you all the very best.
Print them on a white paper with bold letters and paste it on your mirror, because you cant start your day without looking into your mirror. You can check yourself everyday if your moving on the
Right Path,
with Right Pace and
with Right Strategy to achieve your goals.
Hope this helps.

I'm thinking of putting it on the refrigerator or using the print outs as my computer and cellphone's wallpaper.

Glad to see that you want to improve and have goals to aim for. I wish you success! However you seem to have not mentioned the most important one of all, the spiritual dimension. Without a good spiritual program all the others will not matter in the end.

It certainly sounds like you've got some ambitious goals for the next year. I've only recently started writing on helium, but I have a goal of getting up to four writing stars with them and I would like to have the residual of minimum payout on a regular basis. In addition to that, I want to continue to make minimum payout here every month. In addition to that, I want to work as many sites as it takes to make at least $100 a month. It isn't much that I am asking for right now, but I'm still relatively new at this.

Nice seeing a fellow Helium writer here! Well, we have to start somewhere and online writing is a game of patience. I would also love to work in as many sites to create multiple streams!

Of course offline is better! Balance is important, as you can read my post some of the "I want to" items focus on things outside the Internet.

Great list of goals there, but if I may, I'd like to make a suggestion. Everyone "wants" to reach their goals, but most people don't. One of the reasons they don't is, they never really picture themselves reaching them.
Instead of "I want" statements, make them "I am" statements. Write them down and repeat them every day.
Also, don't forget that achieving long term goals is done step by step. To reach your long term goals, set short goals that lead to the long term goals. Set deadlines for each short term goal so you can track your progress. Don't think in terms of "if" with the deadlines, think in terms of "when".
When you have done these, your "I am" statements will be realized!
I AM changing my life for the better end of things - financially, emotionally and physically!
I AM achieving the following.
I AM more productive!
I AM creating 100 at least lens for Squidoo! (passive income stream)

I AM finishing my studies (48 units away from finishing my managerial accountancy degree)
See the difference in attitude? You'll feel the difference too!

Yup, It's all about visualization and achieving small skirmishes (short-term goals.)
For example; I am to create 100 lens for Squidoo that means I should create at least a Squidoo lens every three days.
I am to be physically fit -- I'd spend at least two-three hours a week at the gym.

It is good to have right decision for our life. Giving yourself 365 days to change your life is a real motivation to many of us who have done so. I myself have decided to do the same, especially in the area of financial freedom. Working hard towards achieving that. I am giving myself until end of 2011. Wish me luck.

It sounds like you are going to have a very busy year. Just don't work so hard that you forget to enjoy yourself. Take a time out here and there to just enjoy life.

Starting your new year's resolutions early! I do this all year long. I am constantly looking for ways to improve my life, or new hobbies that can keep my creative juices (and happiness) flowing. If I may though-I think you might have overwhelmed yourself by starting with too many goals..I like to take one at a time and then when I'm done, start a new one. Good luck to you and keep us posted!

Thanks, I'm not actually into the New Year's Resolution thing. I think it's very seasonal and just a fad. LOL!
I hope we can both achieve our goals.

I admire your making that money online. Most of us have goals in life. We may not all identify them as goals, but in one way or another there are certain things that we hope to accomplish. Whatever your goals are, they are reflections of what your goals should be in your day, your week, your month, or your 365 days. Take it one day at a time. Today, resolve to do those things that you would regret not having done when you wake up tomorrow. Then, take it a step further and make plans to do things that align with your lifelong goals.

Yup, I'm single. I just failed a relationship because I wasn't honest -- on of my goals is dedicated on being honest.
Nevertheless, all's going well on my part.

Wow! You're making $250 a month online at such a young age is really something. Financially, you can be almost there. Creating passive income is what I wanted as well though I've only started by investing on variable insurances that has a retirement plan that could earn a lot when I can no longer work. It's good to see people like you who are very persevering. Just claim like those to God and I'm sure you'll be writing us back that all in your lists have been achieved. Be blessed my friend!
