I read it in some magazine that drinking water works as a stress-buster. I have heard that it is good for skin, helps to remove toxins, prevents constipation but helps to relieve stress - that's weird and I haven't heard that b4. And also that loose weight stuff...
Is it true or just a stupid statement made by a magazine to increase sales?

How could you say cold water is so bad? There's nothing bad with water, whatever they came either warm or cold.
Just to add up additional info for you, for those people whose into body building or really concern about being healthy, drinking such as cold milk, cold chocolate milk is way better than drinking it hot or warm. It helps you get bigger. It is just recommended to drink warm water or hot beverages just to warm up our tummy specially when we wake up in the morning, for some cases people who drink cold beverages early in the morning suffers from stomach ache.
But still there's no bad whatever the way you wanted to drink the water. Water is healthy and really needed by our body in so many ways.
Never had read or heard of such bad water in my entire life.

Our liver uses water to metabolize fat into usable energy. The cleaner and purer the drinking water is, the more time that the liver can spend on metabolizing fat.
By drinking plenty of water, you're allowing your upper and lower intestines to better absorb nutrients during digestion. Food cravings are primarily the result of nutrient deficiencies and can be controlled by drinking lots of pure, healthy water.Colon needs water to make bowel movements softer and dehydration can be a major cause of constipation.
brain has a greater need of water than any other part of body. Brain cells are about 85% water. Lack of water in the brain can lead to not being able to think clearly, anxiety, anger and even depression.

hello JackRoy
yes, water does relieve stress and loose weight. there is oxygen in the water which helps rebuild the red blood cells in the body and make them stronger and flushes out all the bad components in the body which helps your body feel more calm. Yes, to loose weight because it flushes out the fat cells better than if you did not and helps rebuild the muscle if been excerzing. There is a lot benefits to drinking water. Yes, water is bland I recommend adding fresh squeezed lemon or orange to the water to make it taste good. I like spring water and not bottle water. I always taste the plastic.
Thanks and have a great night!
Sincerely Unique16

Drinking a lot of wter can reduce BP i think. So i think it can relieve stress. About 70% of our body is water and water has a votal role in every body activity. Hence drinking proper amount of water help in smooth body function and reduce stress too. But i dont know how it is associated with loose of wwight. I dont htjink it has any thing to do with weight loss.
