I know what's on your mind after reading that question. It has no sense at all. I read it on our blackboard 4 years ago and up until now, that question still pops out of my head.
But it has a bit of sense though. If you change the cactus into an elephant, it may mean you are strong and unbeatable. Or into a lion, a mighty ruler. Or a snake if you are flexible. But why a cactus?
So if you are a cactus, why? Lets be absurd for once in a while. :)

Hi beeh13u,
Allow me to express myself in verse
If I were to be a cactus
I 'd be the flowering type;
And if anyone does not like cacti,
you are free to tell me over SKYPE
(SKYPE to rhyme with type)
I'd have control over my thorns
to flaunt them hard or pull them in,
like this particular X-man, I like
who is named 'WOLVERINE'
I don't know what to write more,
(I have to go and piss)
Congrats bih13u, for posting
an absurd topic like this.

Cacti are sacred to some because of some of their entheogenic and medicinal purposes. They strive in harsh environmental conditions. They have thorns, but they also have flowers. You can eat the meat of the cacti and they have water inside. Some can live for hundreds of years. They provide homes for small creatures, protecting them from the harsh sun.
Spiritual, beautiful, strong, kind. I don't know if I am a cactus, but it sure doesn't sound like a bad thing to be.
