I was so sure that I got that one right.

I have had that feeling many times on an exam. I am completely confident, without a shadow of a doubt, that I got the question right. Of course, that could be the problem and why I might have got it wrong. Confidence is good, but those who put together the exam have tricks of tripping up the confident student. Like for example on a true, false question, changing just enough where it seems to be true, where the question is false. Have you have experienced this? Looking forward to reading your responses.

I used to get confident on every maths paper that I take. "I'll pass this time! It's so easy.!"
[Lol, that's when I'm in primary school, desperately wanting to pass my maths -_-;]
and I would always get 40+marks/100 back *frown*
So now, I don't really want to say I'm confident of getting XX marks or anything... it just makes one feels disappointed when you didn't attain that.

There are times where I just go in with an attitude that I'm doomed and actually often times I do well. Granted, this is not foolproof and doesn't work every time and most likely will not work for everyone, but still it is the thought that counts. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

When i have done exams how ever much i'm confident in the answers i've wrote down, i do question myself on the answers still though. I'm always i doubt that i may have got it wrong even though at the back of my mind i know the answer... if that makes sense.
