Can someone here share his/her experience on most difficult question he/she was asked during job interview and how did someone manage to answer it. For me the most difficult one is when they ask me the question ''Why will I hire you?'' because it's an open ended question and I don't where to start my answer?

"Where do you expect to see yourself, a year/five years/ten years/whatever, down the line?" seems to be a tricky one to answer. And one that you need to be careful with. You need to seem like you have big hopes but not too big. Ambitious but not too much so. It is a very tricky one to answer and the answer needs to be clear enough, without revealing too much. See that is one where while you might have an idea, its got to be phrased in a certain way. Sometimes employers are looking for the answers to be posed in different ways and if you seem a bit too sure of yourself or unsure, then they might shy away from hiring you. At least that is in the experiences that I have had. Still that can be quite the tricky one to spin. So I'd have to go with that one.

Questions at the interviews can be really hard to answer some times. The question I had which I could not answer well was "What could you do for the Company ?" My answer to that question was "I will do my best for the Company", and I got the job. I guess the interviewer was a bit astonished with my answer. I am still with the Company now, and honestly, I am doing my best.

The most difficult question i got was: Have you ever lied. I answered it this way: If I say that I haven't I would be lying, but I promise you that if ever you will hire me, I'll be observing honesty for the good of the company. Guess what! They hired me for being honest and frank!

instead of being asked what are my strengths, i was surprised they asked about my weaknesses. in as much as i would want to be really honest in answering the question, i cant completely do so as my chances of being hired will be minimized. in a span of few seconds a lot of ideas went in my mind but i still managed to answer ones i know i have- short temper and lack of patience over work not done the way it should be, being bossy, and being too aggressive. i quickly backed it up with my eagerness to work on those weaknesses to better improve myself and to contribute to the growth of the company. i knew it went well because i got the job :)
