Do you feel that you have too many clothes, just the right amount, or not enough? I have so many it is unreal. I like to shop and love finding bargains. I have 4 double wardrobes full of clothes, many i haven't even worn yet. I see a bargain and buy the item. I tend to always wear many clothes but only really get rid of them when they are looking tatty. Think i had better stop shopping now as i have way too much, but nothing wrong in getting great bargains.

Haha you sound like a friend of mine. She has a room - yes a room! with 6 closets or so - just for her clothes.
Me I don't have much, just enough that I need to do laundry every two weeks or else I won't have anything clean and decent to wear lol. Growing up we had this tradition that every 6 months everything that doesn't get worn ends up in charity. My mom actually raids our closets and gets the clothes she never sees us in and sends it to church. Without our knowledge. Lots of times it ended up in frustration especially when I was a teen. But I see her sense in doing that. Have continued that practice even if I'm not living with mom anymore :-)

Now that is my kind of woman, lol, 6 closets? Atleast she has a wide variety of clothes to choose from, just like i do also. I do my laundry a couple of times a week as there is me and my son and my son is very messy so he goes through a lot of clothes. It would be nice to send them to a church or a charity if you don't wear them. I know i have a load but i wait until they are worn down then they get binned and then i move onto a new item thats already in my wardrobe, i took advantage of so many sales, which is good as the VAT is about to rise and so atleast my past purchases of clothes will now last me into the future for quite a while now and so i will save quite a bit of money.

Yeah, it helps maybe that my friends' parents are uber-rich. Lol. And I rarely do laundry coz it's one of my least favorite chores :-p

Right now I tend to think that I have just the right amount of clothes. I have a full wardrobe for the warmer months of the year and I also have a full wardrobe for the cooler months of the year. I don't have our dressers filled with my clothes, I am able to share with my husband as well. I love to find good deals, but I don't make it a special effort to be able to shop for myself. Most of the things that I buy these days are for my children instead of for myself.

i am like that now, i have a 2 year old son and so most of my money now goes on him, good job that i got all the bargains in the past as my son can now benefit by having the majority of my money spent on him, and kids do grow quickly so i am often buying him clothes.

I think the point where I thought I had too much was when the clothes rack fell right off of my closet. And all three dresser drawers dropped to the ground. That was the time where it was time to clean some house. I got a lot of clothes when I was younger for Christmas and I'll be honest, I wore maybe half of them more than once.

I guess that that really is a sign to say do something. My wardrobe bars that hold my clothes are bending slightly, i have had to get another wardrobe to put some clothes in from the others so that there isn't that much weight on the bars. I have often overfilled my drawers and the bases of them have broken. The clothes that i have not yet worn will eventually get worn, i just want to fully get my moneys worth out of the clothes i wear at the moment, that way i save myself plenty of money.

I do not have too many clothes. But the right number some used clothes i donate to the needy. At times I buy some clothes and give them too.Mostly girls and women have more no of clothes If I am not wrong. They are more interested in clothes and appearance compared to men.

I knew i should have been a woman, lol. I would agree that it is mainly women who fuss more about having loads of clothes and about their appearence. I guess i just love buying them and in the long run it saves me money and as money is quite tight now it is a good job i took advantage of many discounted clothes.
