Well I was so excited last night. My youngest son stopped by with his babies. Little Charlotte was a Cupcake queen and Peirson was Robin Hood. I so wanted to upload the pics on here. But then, either mylot was being mean or else, I forgot how its done so, I ended up just making her my avatar for a while. Then I went to FB and loaded them all. Even though I had trouble there to remembering. Hope im not getting Alzhiemers. So how was your Halloween? and can I see some of your babies pics? try to load another on this discussion.

I sure wish I could see your picture but myLot is having issues again. Hopefully, they'll get it fixed soon.
I have no babies to take pictures of. My kids are 26 and 29 years old and neither has any kids of their own. I keep reminding them that I'm not getting any younger and they should hurry up to give me some grandkids but they're smarter than that. They'll have kids when they're ready and I really am happy about that.
I don't celebrate Halloween anymore. We live so far from a main road that we get no trick-or-treaters back here. I don't even bother decorating anymore and I used to love it! All my efforts are concentrated on Christmas decorating now.

hi bunnybon7 its times like this when everyone is talking about their grandkids I get a bit teary as I only have the one child who is now 51 and unmarried and from all looks of it,is going to be a bachelor.cry.So I have no grandkids to show off but its okay, I have all sorts of other interests.I got to see one of our residents grandkids in costume and there was a fairy princess, a ballerina and a gremilin. so cute. these two moms with their kids come to bring their grandpa something nice to eat almost every day.the children trick or treating in all their great costumes is what makes my halloween.

Hi Hatley! You reminded me of when my sister was in a nursing home. Every Halloween, my best friend and my sons would go with me to visit my sister. She would then parade us around the entire building so she could show us off to her friends there. I know that we brought smiles to a lot of the residents and it felt good. Some of them even offered us candy! LOL
I really enjoyed that. Even though my sister is no longer with us, maybe I could find a nursing home nearby and still do that every Halloween, maybe even make masks to hand out to the residents. I'm going to have to give that some thought because it's something I know I'd love to do.

One other thing... I'm not sure I'll have grandchildren, either. I was older when I had my first, I had just turned 29. I was 31 when I had my second. My sons are 29 and 26 (soon to be 27) right now and neither are even in a really committed relationship so I may never have grandkids of my own, even though I feel I've earned them. LOL I feel that grandchildren are our reward for raising our own kids. We can spoil them rotten, then hand them back to their parents.
I guess some of us will just have to "borrow" the grandkids of other people.

I guess you just have to remember to "brouse" like adding a pix or updating avatars... same goes for facebook and yahoo groups
we had NO lights on, except the one we can't turn off in the front room, and we STILL had someone ring and knock
I went outside a few minutes later and it was PITCH black, WHAT WERE they THINKING???
Oh, I forgot, they weren't...

I'm so glad u got to see those babies. I got to see ryan but not my grandaughter as usual. I know this is ugly but i hope my son knows how much it hurts me that i don't see him or his daughter one of these days. I can't put pictures on. My digital camera has been broken a long time & if it wasn't i have forgotten how to do it so join the club, lol. I had a bu8nch to come by . I always love seeing the little ones.

Awww, they are just adorable! I went over to my daughters for Halloween and we took my granddaughter out up and down the street. She's 3, named Lucy, and she was a little dragon with wings. It was the cutest costume and warm which was good as it was so chilly. She had so much fun and so did I, haha.
The last time I tried to put pictures on myLot, they just wouldn't work. I tried for 3 days and they would not download. I never had problems before but all of a sudden I do now. When I get a picture of Lucy, I'll try to download it.

id love that. ive been haunting FB for pics of all my friends kids/grands, etc. we only had a few other kids come by for candy. they were mostly older kids for some reason not sure why. id love to see a dragon costume. cool.

How cute! You have a handsome son, too. My babies don't have babies yet so I have no pics and they're clear across the country anyway. I had a blast handing out candy, though, and there were some cool costumes. My favorite was the shark, it looked like a huge shark walking on its tail.

All in all I would say that we had a pretty good Halloween. Paul was dressed up as a skeleton and Kathryn was a pirate maiden. I think that both of the children looked really cute in their costumes and I know that they got more than enough candy from trick or treating to last them for a while. I will upload some pictures when I get the opportunity to pull them off of my memory card, but I can't get that done right now.
