Do you consider your pet one of your best friends?

I know I'm not the only one out there who feels a deep connection with animals sometimes, like they're a family member or best friend. I probably spend more time with my animals than I do my regular friends. I'm not isolated or anything, I just love animals and since I'm in school, I haven't been seeing much of my friends who aren't in school with me.
Do you feel like your animal is one of your best friends? Do you feel connected to them more than your real friends sometimes? I definitely like that they can't talk back!

I am worrying about the short life of pets than human. One important difference between pet loss and human loss is that pet loss is often not appreciated. Friends and family may ask “What’s the big deal? It’s just a pet!” There is also the assumption by many that pet loss shouldn’t hurt as much as human loss, because humans are supposedly more important than pets.
For someone who has truly loved a pet, however, the loss of that animal can feel just as devastating as a human loss, if not more. The very things that make animals different than humans often make them more endearing. An animal who doesn’t talk can’t pass judgment or give you the silent treatment or withhold companionship and love. For many, pets provide a source of unwavering love, affection and companionship. The qualities of a beloved pet are hard to match in human form. The loss of that companion can be heartbreaking.

Definitely, I would talk and cuddle them everyday. They seems to know how's your feelings though when you are sad they know it.

Sometimes I do consider my pets as my best friend. One of the dogs that I have comes to see me every-night when I come home from work wagging his tail and he always brings me something. It is usually a shoe but I have gotten cups and stuffed animals too. I can tell my dog anything and he does not talk back or tell me that I am wrong. I feel good when my pet comes to see me.

in my opinion pets are very important in our lives and they make us more human than they would be otherwise. Pets allow us to express emotions that we sometimes find it difficult to express to other people. Animals love unconditionally. That is very important because it allows us to love them without fear of ridicule or rejection. That is what makes animals in our lives so very necessary.
I do not think I would trust a person who said they did not like animals and if they said they did not like pets I would probably run away from them as fast as I could! They would certainly be in my opinion people without feelings or compassion for how could anyone not like pets? It is unthinkable to me.

I love my pet. I have a Bichon Havanese and he is more like a family member to me. I treat him like one. He is such a harmonious dog and I love him dearly. Even more so than my friend, I must say, so he is more than a friend to me. He plays different roles, sometimes he is a family pet dog. At other times, he is my companion. Cos when I am sad, he is always there for me.

Yes, indeed, my pet is like a member of the family. My pet is a cat , very sweet and adorable. She behaves like a mamber of the family. Whenever I come back home in the evening, she would be waiting right there at the front door, as if she knew exactly what time I would be coming back. She would then jump around in the house, so happy that I am back. Nice loving cat !

For me,I think now at the monet I love pets so much. I usually regard the pet as one of my best friends now. As I have a pet now, I usually just talk to him ,which I usually can not talk to others. After I have talked to him, then I will feel so relexed and have a happy heart at that time. I usually try my best to treat my pet there I enjoy staying with my pet.

For me, I consider my dogs as my best friend and children too. They only depend on me and they gave me joy every time they come up to me.

Yes. I can very much relate to that. I have 3 cats at home. But among those 3, there's this one who seems to be the sweetest. He comes whenever you asks him to. He looks at you in the eye when you talk to him and most of all he responds when you asks him questions like he's a baby. LOL! Very lovely. =)

I am used of having a pet in our house even in our office but i don't really own one, but lately i am enamored with the puppies in our house that i felt the connection that i wanted most. Every time they come and lick my feet i felt the tenderness that i crave most.

Yes, I think my parrot is one of my best friend, I can share every thing with him, even she is not responding to me, I found it best listener, when I am frustrated or alone, I keep to talk with her and she is really very good, whenever she feels that I am not happy she love me a lot and wants me to play with her
So she is very good and best friend...:)
