Why don't you at least give it a go and see what happens? Yes, it's hard to give up something you're so used to and something you like the taste of..But honestly, it's easier than it seems. You lose the cravings after a while and have cravings for other things, like me and my cabbage. lol. There's nothing better than standing up for your beliefs, even if it means a little disciplinary action in your diet, or a little sacrifice here or there. I've been a vegetarian for 8 years (8 years on November 5th!) and it definitely gets easier with time.

Wow, 8 years without eating meat! I am not sure if i can do it but i am going to make my children vegetarian for sure! I am not really fan of vegetables so i think it is going to be difficult for me when i am vegetarian! Yh, i am going to do a trial thingy to see how it goes!

In my home country it is easy to buy vegetarian food in health food shops and it looks a bit like meat. It is however cruelty free and people say it tastes lovely. I became a vegetarian at 4 years old because my sister said "don't eat it" and "it is an animal". I was so shocked and stopped eating meat. When I was a teenager my family stayed in a cottage in Rye. We were going along the road and I saw some sheep. They were bleeding and looked so miserable. I was already giving talks at secondary school about the cruelty to animals. I wanted animals to be treated fairly. I cut down on drinking cows milk and gradually became a vegan in my late twenties. A vegan doesn't eat any animal products at all so it is more strict than being a vegetarian.
