On Nov.1 Randy Moss was supposedly placed on waivers. If this comes to be the question one might ask himself why? I have been in the workforce for a long time and I do know that one thing is for sure, you perform or you go! From watching Moss in the past I think he is a great reciever. He is a a legitimate threat on the field. The only mark that I see against him is that he turns it on when he wants to. In just a few words, when he is involved and the ball is planned to come to him he is great he turns it on. The only downfall with Moss, is he truly a team player? He has been accused of in the past as having alligator arms. It may come down to confidence. In this day of hard hits and head shots, how confident would you be on the field? I think that anything you are invoved with it is all about being dedicated to the task at hand and the people that you are involved with. COMMITMENT!!!!!!

I heard Cris Carter talk about Randy and what he said that rang true to me was that Randy does not respect male authority figures, especially if they are wishy washy. I think the writing was on the wall. Randy isn't a problem as long as he gets the ball and often. But if the other team double teams him , and smartly the QB throws to another , Randy Gives up!But if you throw it deep , he is your man. Rumor has it that he is a good team mate in the locker room. But on the field? I guess not.

The man has stated in front of the press, "I will work when I want to," of course the dumb over egoed guy did it to himself. He isn't a team player, he is an egotistical selfish guy who happens to have some talent. Another wonderful story about Moss, in his last year in Minnesota (the first time) after the final game of the regular season he complained and moaned about the team saying they cost him the play offs. Eventually all the random tie breakers happened and they got in, Moss then said their play off birth was all because of him. I really hope he doesn't get picked up at all and leaves football forever. I really don't like the guy.

I think he was waived cause his lack of effort on the field, plain and simple. They would rather have half the talent on the field giving all the effort, then having him be around sometimes.
It's not a smart thing from the franchise point of view, but apparently they fully gave up on that or realized there wasn't one two years ago when they went after Favre. Other then ADP the team wasn't much before then, and after this seasons disaster I wouldn't be surprised to see him want to leave as well.

This has been a shocker to me! I don't know yet why the Vikings let him ago! They traded for him and the Patroits are ue a 3rd round draft choice next year! This makes no sense! I know Moss doesn't play hard on every play. He does drop passes. He demands respect when he should be earning it! The Vikings have alot of injuries in the WR department so this makes it even more confusing! Moss is needed but the Vikings don't want him! I wonder if Coach Chldress did this over the owners and GM's heads? I know Chldress has lost alot respect with the players. The Vikings looked so good on paper when the season started! They sure don't now on the field! Bret Favre is not helping things either and he is a whole different story by himself! Childress might lose his job. We'll see! One thing is certain, the Vikings are a Soap Opera!

Some team will pick him up right away. The guy is way too talented. It will be very interesting to see where he ends up.
