changed behavior

I think there's some truth to this one. I have seen my relatives and friends go from being a 'happy' person to a not-so-happy person when they grow older. Though the change isn't that extreme. I guess it comes with the lack of hormones. Just like when we women would be grumpy during our cycles, it's the same when cycles or production of hormones no longer happen. I know for a fact that this is so when an aunt of mine was forced to give up her ovaries at age 45. She experienced a lot of changes in her body. Her skin became dry, hair and all and because of these quick changes, she became grumpy. Which was why her doctor recommended that she take hormone pills.

no we do not become g rumpy or anything else , we do become a bit more honest.If you speak to us rudely anmd expect the same sweet remarks we were forced to give for all our lives, you will be ahocked. we have learned at last to be honest. If you insult ,me, I will no longer turn the other cheek , I may rebuke you for what you said.We have finally learned that we must stick up for ourselves. a good many younger people really treat us old women with not one sliver of respect.So if you pat me on the head like a good little old lady, I may say, do not patronize me, I am not an elderly child. I am an elderly person who demands to be treated with the respect due me.So if that makes you call us crabby maybe you need to check your own language as that may have made me rebuke you.
