do you agree manage a big island nation like Indonesia is more difficult?

I think Indonesia is a big country with so many islands in it But I thought our government need to maintain their territory better. Cuz if we looks right now at the news there are so many bad news about Indonesia which are said that Indonesia territory have been taken by others country. Not only the land but also the resources. Yeah we know actually that to maintain a country is not easy like playing a games on the pc. But I hope a beautiful like Indonesia not lose it's territory anymore.

Well, hi, first thing first, it's not a big island nation. Indonesia is an Archipelago country, which basically means it consists of lots n lots of islands. And yea, it is not easy to manage a big country like our country. The thing that I notice is, a lot of people have a tendency to depends on the President himself to rule the whole country. This is a bit ridiculous. The President is there to rule the country, yes. But then, under him, we got more people who have the authority to govern other places. This is where the problem begins. Most of the government member refuse to do their job, which is basically serve the citizens and take a full advantage of their power. The latest case we can see is the Governor of West Sumatra, who flew to Germany last week in the middle of the evacuation and all the post-tsunami rehabilitation. As a leader of a province, he did not show a good example. SBY, on the other hand, decided to stay in Yogyakarta until Merapi decided to calm down. This is an example of a responsible leader. Yes, he can't be in other places such as Mentawai and Wasior at the same time, but he went there first, isn't it? The time to complain about how sucky SBY or how lousy our government is over. If you want to see something change in Indo, start by doing it to yourself and your family. As simple as this, have you paid your tax? Did you vote when you were supposed to do so? Do you follow the rules and regulations from the Govt? Do you respect and appreciate those who are different from you daily? Yes, it's not easy to manage Indonesia, but if they can do it back in the 1800 or the early 1900, why can't we do it now? :)

i think manage a country dont meed a words "hard" if you say about responsibility, there are no need words say... i think manage with heart and responsibility is not difficult even it`s not easy.. But God will helps us as long as we do it for our people..

I agree to manage big nation like us its not easy but not impossible. Its easier to run small nation like Singapore because they only had small number of citizen if compare to number of citizen we had. There are many nation bigger than us like USA but their leader do their job by providing great system to ensure they people welfare. What our leaders don't have is their willingness to work for their people, they busy to make a coalition make sure their personal need fulfilled. Most of our leader want to be served and not serving to their people.
