i am now planning on a studing trip in germany, which might take 3-4years, or even more. and now i've got a problem. my mom's old (60), even though she is fine and have not any disease now.i worry her health would turn bad=( yesterday night she told me that her felt too cold and have no energy suddenly, even cant walk, and then she was lying on the sofa.... what's your decision if you were me? would you still insist to go

You have your future to take care of and it should be on your priority list. Your mother is not that too old yet and am sure she can look after herself while you are away or your other siblings should take care of her in your absence.

I'd still go if I were you. It's your future and I know your mom want you to go as well. Maybe your mom is testing you on your decisions in life. How about asking her directly? Tell her to answer you honestly. My parents always say that no matter what happens to them, I should always prioritize my future. Opportunities are very rare and don't waste it for it will always have something good in return.

I think what ever decision you make your mom will support you. Your mom will always want the best for you. If you really want to spend more time with your mom you can always study at your place. Look for the best university there and make the most out of it.
