I have heard some disturbing news this morning which has really worried me as my new baby granddaughter is involved.
When I returned from holiday this week my daughter told me that she had entered little Olivia in a baby competition organised by the shop NEXT on Facebook, Today it has been released that police have advised ALL PARENTS, "Please don't enter your baby into the NEXT Baby competition on facebook or any other networking site. It has nothing to do with NEXT it has been set up by a peodophile ring."
This is SO scary!!!!
So any British members please beware of this!

Even while there was no suspision that this thing was fake, i thought the whole idea of parents soliciting their babies on a world wide social networking site was irresponsible and disgusting! All those parents who did should be ashamed! even Police have advised ALL PARENTS,, please dnt enter your Baby into the NEXT baby competition on facebook or on any other networking site... it has nothin to do with Next,, it has been set up by a Pedofile ring!!
Have a nice day.Happy mylotting :D

I have a 8 year old daughter who love to play games on facebook, and sometimes it worries me when some unknown sent request to add her as friend i always tell her to ignore every request if she doesn't know the person. But it's good that the police acted quick and put a warning on the fake competition. But a baby??? How crazy mentally ill that pedophile can be?

OMG! It is terrible that we live in a society where proud parents wanting to show off their baby can't even do that anymore. I am sorry that cute little Olivia can't even have her photo shared on what you would think would be a decent site. I am sure that if that is happening in Britain, it is surely happening here in the states. There sure are some sick people in this world! Thanks for sharing the information with us.

That is just too scary and it makes you wander how many others on the site are actually just trolling for victims. My daughter has an account with facebook but my boyfriend, oldest son and I all monitor who she actually speaks to on the site and make sure that nobody is too suspicious, if they are we cut the connection and block them. There are too many sickos out there who pray on kids.

Hard to tell if something's legit over the internet...
