what's wrong with the world and the people in it ?

this is what i was asked the other day. my reply was people.
more and more people dont respect others, they are mean and nasty to others.
they think they say and do whatever they want to others, and dont care. and if you say anything back to some of these people they get all upset and po at you.
i think the world will be ok, but i also belive God will get upset at people and wipe us all out one day.

Smart conclusion. Problem is - god is confused. After all - there are good people like you and me around! God must be blond, so he cant really find a solution to this one!

Compared to the whole history, the times we live now are pretty much paradise. People have always been mean, but if you ever got on someones nerves a long time ago, they would've probably killed you with no remorse. Also, for thousands of years we lived under the terror of wars and mentally ill leaders.
There's nothing wrong with the world. Oh, and explain to me, what kind of a "loving God" gets upset at people? This awfully sounds more like a human emotion, not a "divine" one.
