A Stranger Makes Me Happy

There's this one person that I talked to almost every day for 11 days now and he's been keeping me amused. Aside from my husband and son, he can keep me laughing all day. He makes me feel good about myself and would relate to me funny stories. We shared something in common including having our own families and how we keep our families intact and happy. What's so wonderful about what we share is that we share it with all honesty despite the fact that we haven't met each other personally.
So today even if I'm in pain because of my monthly period, i'm still happy because of him.

I don't get that pain often anymore. I used to be so lazy, no exercise for me hahaha. Just siting in front of my computer all day and all night.

Hello,
This is the good thing about stranger isn't it? In such a relationship you don't share any responsibilities. It's totally carefree. You amuse each other and it's a symbiotic relationship. I also love to meet new people over internet. Some of them are totally depressing. But some of them always radiate positive energy all the time. Even from among strangers we need to be careful in choosing friends. A good friend, whether you meet him personally or not, can always make you feel good about yourself. Thanks.
God bless you.

Indeed it is a great pleasure to meet someone online or on the phone. You've said it well. I'm radiating too much positive energy today that I still keep smiling even as i'm writing this one! Thank you for making a comment my friend.

Obviously, this relationship has had a very good start. You find each other interesting and bring joy to each other. How long do you think the relationship will stay 'online'? How long before you decided to meet this man in person? Just curious.

I never considered or thought of how long this friendship will last because it's something that is unexpected. I don't count the days and i don't long for how long. I just want to enjoy the moment as long as it lasts and what's important to me is the friendship at the present time. There is no plan of meeting as this might change the way we see each other or our relationship.

It's good to hear that you share that in all honesty. Because once you started to feel that there is something developing aside from being happy together, then you should be aware, because you two have your own families right? Maybe you have found someone who can be your real good friend, in its truest meaning that's why you can laugh with though he is still a stranger.

Yes, we both know our limitations and we both love our families. I think that's why we share and laugh together because we have so many things in common. We have considered the thought of what would happen if we fall inlove but we both acknowledge the fact that we shouldn't allow that to happen. We don't want to ruin our friendship and it's the friendship that counts above else.

What a good thinkings, I really appreciate this. We at myLot are sharing our tensions and pains and are getting relief too from our friends, though most of them are stranger for us, we have not seen them in our real life, but we can feel their emotions about us, this is really very good thing, yes these strangers make our lives easier
Thanks for sharing such a beautiful thoughts

It amuses me and makes me "envious" how you are able to stir interest and so many comments and responses with a single Discussion :) There's also this other friend who has, more or less, the same "skill" as you. She's had many followers in the previous site I joined and like you, she writes so well too, being an English teacher. May the tribe of you both increase to inspire other people and help them (including me) as we improve and polish our English in the course of our exchanges of thought and minds with you.

I had quite a lot of followers and admirers in bubblews too. But I didn't stay long on that site. Too many men with strange ideas abused my kindness.

@sunrisefan Yep there were a lot of them there because bubblews was the highest paying site of that kind those days. Everybody wanted to make a lot of money online.

I have a similar experience just a few days ago.
I just logged into an instant messaging program after a long time and there was this person online. Since it had been a long time since I last logged into the program, I simply had no idea who this person was. How we got to know each other or how I got this user's ID on my list.
I just sent a hello and from there, we got to know each other again and simply had a good time chatting, joking and so on as time went pass.
Quite amusing. (^_^ )

I'm glad you could relate to this. It's really quite amusing and could take most of our time. It's really fun and it's like being free to be yourself!

Yeah, we both started with chatting in English as we both didn't know if we lived in different countries. Just laughed so much when we realized that we were in the same country and how we were struggling to chat in English (^_^")
It was coincidence I guess since we got to talk during the holiday at a late hour when we were both not at work.
Since we only know each other as being fun to chat with, I guess we'd always expect to enjoy each other's company every time we get to chat.

Thank you for being so nice and sweet too. It's nice to meet people online because you don't have any apprehensions, but it's true that we have to be cautious about that too. I think i'm old enough to know the difference between people who are real and people who aren't.
SEe you around my friend!

Is that a person a man or woman? I agree with you, but this case doesn't happen at all times. You should still be careful knowing that that the two of you haven't met already. We should be aware that there are a lot of people who are just "talk shi*s." What I mean is that they're only good at first, but during the latter part, some of them are going to "tilt." Still, I'm glad because you found this person who makes you happy. But still, be careful, and do not dwell to much on him/her.

And I'm sure that friend would be flattered if he read your Discussion. Sometimes, it's better to open yourself up to a stranger (who has earned your trust of course) than a family relation. I say this because, from observation, most people would join certain religious groups and communities at the invitation of a friend rather than one from a brother or sister. Members of religious communities would sometimes be closer to their "brothers and sisters" in the community than their blood brothers or sisters.

When you're past 40 you might miss that monthly period LOL! So enjoy it while it's here hahaha! But still, I hope the pain subsides and you enjoy your day. Glad you have that friend you enjoy having the day with :) Now with this comment I'd be mistaken again for a woman LOL!
