Will you kill a dog if you hate it?

I wouldn't intentionally kill any living creature, so, no, I would not kill a dog if it bit. More often than not, a dog will bite only if it feels threatened, and it tends to feel threatened when it senses that a person is scared. Recently, while my kids and I were out delivering papers, my son was bit by a dog. The dog saw my son going into its yard and jumped against the screen door. The screen door, which is normally shut tight, and even locked, wasn't this time. When the dog jumped against the door, the door opened. My son saw the dog coming outside and screamed in terror, which only managed to make the dog feel more threatened. As a result, my son got bit in the leg. I understand that he was scared, and I know that he did not intentionally provoke the dog, but I also know that the dog was only doing what it has been trained to do, which is protect the house. In this instance, I didn't even make a report. Now, if the dog would have mauled my son and bit him in the face, I would have had no choice but to make a report, in which case, I am not sure what would have happened to the animal. I, personally have found that the kinder we humans are to dogs, the more loyal they are. I feel that there is no sense in killing a dog when it is only doing what is natural to it. I think that if the dog happened to be rabid and posing a danger not only to others, but also to itself, the circumstances would be different. Either way, I could not personally kill a dog.

This isa topic that hits very close to home wit me, as my poor baby boy is an "aggressive dog." We did not know this when we rescued him, and we are working very hard to help him. He is aggressive out of fear, he has a diagnosed anxiety disorder, confounded by seperation anxiety. Earlier this year he got outside and was frantically looking for me when he came across another dog. A fight ensued and my dog was definitely the 'attacker' The owners of the other dog called the police and wanted my dog destroyed. (I had only had him for 2 weeks) Since then I have spent countless hours and lots of money on training for my dog. Researching dog to dog aggression and treatments and therapies. He is SLOWLY getting better. Most importantly I know what to watch for and situations to avoid. Dogs are dogs, they don't think like people. Dogs are by nature aggressive. It is important for humans that own dogs to do their research on breeds and types of training. If your dog is 'out of control' it is your job to get them IN control, not just put them down and go on your way.

I will never ever do such a thing no matter what. Dogs have life, like humans. What right do we have to take away their lives? I love animals and will forever be.

There is no way that I would ever be able to kill another living being. The reason that I don't think that it would be right would be because of the fact that the only reason that dogs bite is because of the fact that they've been aggrevated in some way. In fact, there have been a couple of times that my children have been bit by a dog and though I might be a little upset at the time that it happens, I definitely wouldn't want to kill the dog over it.

No, I would never intentionally kill a dog. If I had to hurt a dog to defend myself, my loved ones or my own dogs, I would not hesitate to do so. But I will never kill a dog.

Hi to all, we have a dog in our home his name is clotty. He's black and scary its a japanese spitz breed actually he's mix breed. I sometimes hate him because everytime i feed him or loose him he always go for a jump on me. I hate it sometimes because he tried to bite my shirt or shorts. Also he always lick my feet. I just can't stand hugging a dog but if I hate him i won't kill him because they are also a living creature right? thats all.. have a good day mylotters...

I really love dogs! we have got two shih tzu pups and 1 japanese spitz at my parents home. i treat them like my own brothers.. here at the condominium i am staying, hubby and i have a male maltipoo(maltese-poodle).. he is four months old and he is indeed one playful dog.. he likes to be with us all the time.. Tobey makes me happy especially when i am feeling down and lonely... his simple gesture makes me laugh.. in return, i give him all the love and care he needs.. i always feeds him with his favorite dog food and sometimes rewards him with delicious treats..

I will not kill my dog!! my dog wont bite me, I love my dog and my dog loves me.there is no way my dog will bites me.so I wont kill her ;-) if someone's dog bites me,I guess I must did something wrong with them,so they not happy or angry with me,I am a dog lover,I am friendly with all dogs.so i guess i wont get a dog bitten me ;-) some dogs are crazy,but if you didn't make things that she or he thinks you are not right,he wont bite you,though...

Never. I am a dog lover and I really hate to see dogs being abused in many ways, like ill-fed, left alone, or tied. Whenever I see dogs like these, I instantly have that feeling of wanting to help the poor animals, but of course, it is not as easy as that. I would never even imagine that.

No, to kill a dog for me is like to kill a human being. Every creature deserves to live, unless it is neccessary to kill it, but as long as we do not eat dogs...

i can't kill a dog cause I am afraid to hold one. LOL!.. If ever i am bitten by a dog, of course I will not kill for a revenge. Because animals have also life like us and must be threaten well.

I don't think I could ever kill a dog even if it bites me. For one, dogs bite when they are scared. Its a defense mechanism. Its in his nature to react that way. And I would never submit to that kind of animal cruelty.

personally speaking,I don't want to kill a dog I hate.But if it is a mad dog that might have some virus,I must kill it to prevent it biting people.

No i could never kill a dog even if it bites me. I've been bitten by three dogs all at the same time. They attacked me and I couldn't do anything. But I never hated them for doing that, i feared them. However, despite that horrifying experience, I never stop loving dogs as my pet. And I think i'll never be bitten again.

No, I won't unless it's necessarily to do so. If the dog put you in dangerous condition, there's no other options to do. There's a case in my country that the dog killed the baby of his master, unfortunately, they were too late to know it. But if they knew it when the dog is biting the baby, wouldn't you kill the dog on spot?

I dont like to kill dog, even it bite me, If there is some danger from a dog I ll just try to protect my self instead of killing it....
