i posted a discussion not long a go about having to return to work even though i'm not well enough to,due to the fact i can't claim any benefits we are really skint and are struggling to pay our bills,so i thought the only solution was to go back to work regardless of my health,,,this was until last night when i had the most awfull headache and nausea, and all i did yesterday was go to do the weekly shop at tesco for an hour, how on earth am i going to work if i can't even handle doing the shopping without being ill,,i'm trying to claim DLA at the moment AGAIN, but because i'm stubborn and do things wether it hurts or not i always get turned down as they think i'm fine,it's only because i don't want people to see that i can't cope,it just hurts it's not as if i'm dying,i'm 33 not in my 80's,i want to carry on looking after my family,,what am i meant to do,we are so skint

they have strict guidlines as to who can claim, and there is no test i can have to prove what i have and also my condition varies soo much,so this is why i am not believed about how hard my every day life is,plus all the scroungers and con artists out there have made it even harder for me to get them to believe me,,but like i always say, there are people worse off than myself out there

I too have health problems that prevent me from doing normal jobs. However, I am still able to make money doing something I love, and can set my own schedule. I can work when I'm feeling up to it, but rest or sleep when I'm not.
Check out my website and learn how you can make money, without putting your health at risk just to make some extra cash.

you don't have to neglect your health whether you are working or not...don't be careless in the name of stubborn ...being stubborn doesn't mean being negligible ...if you take proper care of yourselves...you won't have any complains even in your 80's

I am sorry that you are feeling this way doormouse and that there isnt more that can be done to help you out...
I am in the same boat as you with being sick, there are days were I feel fine an think I cna do this and then the next I am curled over sick as ever barely able to get out of bed and I once again think to myself what the hell was I thinking?? Today was one of those days , I went to town to the bank and also to pay a few bills about half way through I started getting a real bad pain in my stomach and feeling like I wanted to vomit well before I got a chance to run into the store I ended throwing up all over my car and pants but I knew I had to get this done because it would be foolish to go to town and then leave with only one more thing to do but as i wqs wating in line I started feeling sick again and ended up throwing up again in the outside garbage and then again before I made it to the car, it was so embarrassing and I just wanted to come home, curl up on the couch and hideaway...I hope things get better your way door both financially and in health

I really do hate the fact that there are so many people that are in the same boat that you are in financially and it really stinks. I wish that you would be able to go to work in order to help your family's situation, but if it makes you sick just to do your weekly shopping, there is no way that you are going to be able to work outside the house. I hope that there is a way that you will be able to be approved for benefits.

you need to take care of you health first, yes i know you want to show thant you can do it but you really can't, and you need to stop for a while and take some rest get some strength back. If you don't it might just end up killing you, so stop for a while.

i know i'm too stuborn,i've been told to get in a cleaner but i'd never do that as it wouldn't be the same as my cleaning, and i don't want some stranger looking at all my stuff

My husband has todo all my shopping, housework and sort the children out on his own,as i am not well enough to go shopping,so why dont your partner do yours if he knows that you are ill.Even my daughters have to do things to help me every now and again, along with my older sons.I would love to get out of the house to do the normal things like take the children to school,go to the pub with my daughters and their friends, even to take my children round houses to trick and treat like this weekend, but i can not even do that so my daughter and her boyfriend took them for me,knowing that i could not, instead i sat on the bottom of the stairs playing door person to the trick or treaters that came to mine, while my husband stood in the kitchen cooking the dinner. What a life.Just renewed my blue badge, not like i am going any where other than the hospital and the drs to use it,oh the excitement.

Hon, I know what you are saying about fretting more about your health and worrying about the bills. Sometimes no matter how you try it seems you have to try harder. Please listen to your health and try doing somthing different as your health is triggering something.
I wish I could advise something possibly you can do to earn a bit more without having to continue to lessen your health. Please get some rest and try really hard not to worry, I know it is easier said then done. Trust me hon I know what I am saying as this is the first time in my entire life that I have been unemployed with absolutely no income at all. I have lost everything and am a wreck most times, but what can we do when no one will sympathize.
So my advise to you is to try really hard and take care of you first.
