I really like Malaysia. It is one of the countries that I have visited in Asia. I was 21 years old when I entered Penang from Medan in Sumatra. Then I was very ill whilst I was in Penang. When I got over my fever and sickness I visited a really amazing looking temple. Then I caught a train from Butterworth to Kuala Lumpur. I liked seeing the river and the buildings there. Shopping in the market place was very good. Then I caught a train and then switched to a bus over to Mersing. It was there one dark evening I fell down an open drain and injured my leg. It was going to be Chinese New Year so I went over to Tioman Island on crutches. That is such a beautiful tropical island.

Im an expat here in KL, Malaysia. It's a nice country and I think a better place to live in if you want a simple and humble life.

I have been to Malaysia a number of times. a beautiful country, many fantastic places to see. Kuala Lumpur is one of the most beautiful cities in the region. Every time I am in KL, I would take the opportunity to go up the Petronas Towers, an amazing engineering and architectural feat !! The city views from up the Towers are so beautiful and impressive !

I only visited Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia. Both visits were superb. I kept coming back. :D In Kota, I tried river rafting there and went to Sapi Island for the sea walk. It was a great adventure. In Kuala Lumpur, though I was not able to go to Genting Highlands, I went to Petronas, KL tower, Berjaya Square and Petaling Street. I was fortunate enough to try their buffet at the Revolving Restaurant. The sight from the tower was great and also the food. Food in Malaysia is great. I tried eating in a fine dining restaurant to the busy street food lane of Bukit Bintang. There are some places to hang out to in Kuala Lumpur at night. Some are ok for lounging and some are ultra modern for booty shakers...

What I think about Malaysia? So many because I worked there for 12 months in an oil and gas construction company located in Johor. For me its a wonderful place. The friendly people, the cheap electricity bill, the delicious food where in you pick your choice then the cashier will just focus his eyes on your plate and tells you how much does it cost, the cheap gasoline, the relaxing work schedule, the multi-culture environment (indian, chinese, malay), and much much more. If I will be given another opportunity to work there, I will not think twice of returning.
