Wouldn't that depend on how you view oppresion? The full body covering is not a part of islam (islam, i believe, only requires the covering of hair) but rather an enforced custom of muslim countries such as iran, iraq etc. I personally would feel oppressed if someone told me that i had to keep completely covered just because i am a woman. Other people may feel differently. The most important factor in this discussion is that oppression is the lack of freedom to express one's individuality or opinion which is exactly the case in countries and cultures where the hijab is enforced.
