So sorry, Kentucky.

As Rand Paul would say, "accidents happen." 54% of you accidentally just bit off your nose despite your face. At least the wicked witch O'Donnell is gone. Waiting on the news on Angle.

I had the exact same thoughts when I say the poll results! Now let's hope she (O'Donnell) doesn't follow in Palin's footsteps and run around the country embarassing us all.

If she does just disappear into the night then she proves she's what the left has said about her. If she continues to speak out for the issues she believes in, then she proves the left wrong about her. It's pretty telling that people on the left embarrass so easily.

It's pretty telling that people on the right can't tell they are the reason we are embarassed. Ashamed is more like it. Welcome back 1800s.

The situation is looking dire here in Florida's governor's race...which was the most important one for me personally. I wouldn't buy a used car from the crook who was ahead (not by much) the last time I checked but he has the "R" in front of his name so he must be the best choice.

k, our (apprently) new governor has some serious medicare fraud in his past. I know the developers down here love him but over development is an important issue for some of us down here. There you go ladybug! At least my home state of Maryland showed some common sense in the Senate race. Barbara will continue to watch over that state.

I think I need to run for public office. If Rand Paul can do it, and spew his hate and just overall poopiness, I can do it.

Just out of curiosity, were you just using the term in the spirit of simple name calling, or because of the dabbling in witchcraft back in the 80s thing?

I guess Kentucky got what they asked for but sadly it will affect us all no doubt, and not in a good way! Thank God Angle went down too, along with O'Donnell, whose "concession" speech was a bit strange. She sure didn't sound like someone who had just lost by 17 points. Brown won in California and so did Boxer, so there are two more positives from an otherwise dark night. I'm really dejected by the Pennsylvania results. My Congressman lost and he's been one of the truly good guys for our district for years. He lost to a millionaire businessman and the worst mayor in the nation depending on who you believe. I tend to believe that since his city is about 20 minutes from me and things aren't so great there and haven't been during his time in office. Then there's our new Senator, Pat Toomey; I never thought he'd win, I was so sure Joe Sestak would pull it out but he came up about one percent short. Let's hope Sarah's pal Joe Miller doesn't win in Alaska. So far Murkowski is leading as a write-in. Annie

Annie, I also find the Pennsylvania results pretty depressing. I can't believe we have another senator with the Cheyney/Santorem sneer and the guy supports outsourcing and tax credits for the businesses that send jobs overseas. As for our new governor, it'll just be interesting to see what happens when these just elected Republican governors turn to the new Republican congress for money for infrastructure, job retention etc.

They bit off their nose by voting for a libertarian candidate? You are undoubtedly like most of the liberals who think the American people are too stupid to think for themselves. If they had voted in the liberals again, they would have been gouging out their eyes, IMO. The American people are not blind to the liberal charade that has been forced on us. They voted with their sniffers intact and their eyes wide open.

There is a fine line between taking care of your electorate and accepting earmarks. Of course every representative is obligated to take care of their own regions of the country in terms of infrastructure and needed services. The issue here is PORK, wasteful spending at the expence of the American people. The new Congresspersons will have to work together if they are serious about getting the budget under control. Hopefully a lot of the pork will go.

A fine victory for your nemesis, the constitution :)

Are you talking about baggers at a grocery store? I can't really tell you about how much or how little they know. Perhaps you yourself are a bagger as you described your own knowledge of the constitution quite well with that statement.

Um - except none of the baggers read or understand the constitution.
