What was the greatest bid that you won during any auction.

Recently i participated in an online auction (pennyauction.com.my) and invested around RM1500 to buy bids for auction items (around 1000 bids) Anyway, i already used up 200 bids but did not win any items at all.... I think most of us who participated will end up being losers and the organizer is always the winning party. What do you think about this online auction thing, do you think we can really win something. I think it is quite difficult to get back even the equivalent amount of goods from those bids that we buy. what do you think? Or have you actually participated in similar events and win some great items at must lower price than the retail price? Thanks.
