Gareth Bale's easily becoming one of the Premier Leagues brightest stars, which is showing in the champions league. He was linked a few season back with my clubs arch rivals and also apart of Nottingham. Nottingham Forest fans really believed they could afford to sign him which makes me laugh now!
I didn't see the game but the news here have been making the most of the story, they keep comparing him to Ryan Giggs and suggesting that he could be ending to Man United or City in January.

No he was heavily linked with them.
When he wasn't playing as regular football for spurs they tried to off load him, the only club who would stump the rumoured figure was supposedly Nottingham Forest. So he almost became a championship player, which in my opinion he wouldn't be where he is now had spurs got rid of him.

Gareth Bale is definitely one of the hottest young stars in the European stage. This is the second straight match in the Champions League that he has shown his class. I think Tottenham are going to have a tough time in keeping Bale with them in the next summer's transfer window. For now, let's sit and enjoy his performances.
Cheers!

Yes, his acceleration is fantastic. BTW, Adam Johnson is also very good, though not sure why Mancini is reluctant to give him starting choices.
Cheers!

I think that Maicon is still looking after Bale, he was unable to mark him, neither on Meazza nor on Spurs field. Bale made Maicon look like a beginner, and Maicon couldn't do anything against him. I think he is not going to stay too much at Tottenham anymore if he will play like this on a constant level. He is very fast, he never gives up and has a marvelous left foot. He is a great left wing midfielder and he can also be used as a left back. I would really love to see him at Bayern.

i do agree when you say that bale make maicon as beginner..
but i dont agree if bale wants go to bundesliga...i know bayern is great teams but if we compare about league level as overall, he must choose seri A or la Liga or EPL as his future...
maybe he must to search about AS Roma as his next clubs...
