Toshiba Satellite A 100 Laptop (Blown Speakers)

Hi, My cousin gifted me a laptop (Toshiba), its 2 years old and i replaced the battery by spending almost 4K. Day before yesterday, the built in speakers where blown, now the sound is really distorted that its really irritating me. I called up the service center and they told me that they will charge around 2k for the replacement of the speakers. I don't want to spend such a huge amount on a used laptop. Is there any cheap alternate solution to fix the problem ? Thanks in advance.
