which is better? / myLot

i have a blog on blogger. Some people suggest me to start blog on wordpress. I think that starting a blog on both platform is one and the same. Is there anything special in wordpress apart from blogger? Does wordpress gives any special features that does not available in blogger?

For me I choose Blogger , the speed is faster and the design is simple.. And one more thing , it support many type of html code ..
