I don't..I only know about 60-70 % of them. But I think it's important to know all the people you add as friends right? I've just heard in the news that a girl was stalked using facebook..
So from now on, I'd be careful in choosing and adding facebook friends. There's been lots of people that are scammed in facebook too. So the some experts advised the people not to share personal stuff like birthdays and embarrassing pictures that people could use to blackmail you.

Sweety, its up to you to decide who is safe and who is not for you. Just use your common sense. Keep in mind that later on, as you grow up, your facebook will be a tool from your employers to judge what type person you are, so if you have weirdoes in your fl, it might compromise you. Just use common sense - if you've met someone online and you've known them for a long time, yeah, add them. Keem in mind there's a lot of info about you on facebook, you could easily be stalked hun. :)

I know each and every one of my facebook friends except for 2 persons who sent me a request. I accepted them for some reason. :p But they are friends with a lot of my friends, so it's not like I have no connection to them whatsoever.
Adding people you don't know isn't a very good idea. On my facebook, I have a lot of photo's and other personal stuff I don't want just anyone to see!

I also don`t know all my facebook friends. I know maybe 50% of them. I aggree that is better to know people, you never now what kind of people are on internet. I already start erasing profiles that I don`t know from my Facebook profile.

I have had trouble lining my blog to facebook before and so when i get a friend request i normally bounce back a message asking them to confirm how i know them. it works too. I know 100% of my friends and feel secure in my posts. i still don't share information i would not want friends of friends to see, like mobile numbers and postal addresses, i don't want facebook to own that information on me, just in-case they have a security breach!

Hi lady1993!
I know ALL of my Facebook friends. I do not add people that I do not personally know considering that many information including pictures are included in my profile. Moreover, I just use Facebook to get in touch with friends and relatives whom I have not seen for a very long time. It's nice that such social networking sites are available for us to use. It's sad though that there are people who abuse it.

To tell you frankly I'm not really on facebook. I do remember all the friend that I have added their because if not mistaken I have only 20 added friend there...
Facebook is a good social networking site which we can promote something we do online. But a bad thing in there I can't get any to stay there longer

I only accept people that I know in real life on Facebook. However, I really do not use Facebook all that much anymore. Interested me at first but really served no purpose for me in the end. Still got to be careful online and I'll never put anything too personal about me up there. Unless I completely lose my mind. Which is possible but still I doubt it is going to happen any time soon.

No of course I don't.. but i never send a friend request to the who i don't know.. and i never reject a friend who send me a request..
when there are hundreds in our street to show our love and friendship, why should we logon to something in the net chat with some one who are unknown to us..

Hmm~ same as you, I only know 60-70% of them. I added some of them because both of us have quite numbers of mutual friends and some, I will just ignore or hide them up.

I know most of them, a lot of them are friends I've know from high school, work or church. I have a few that I write articles with so I know them through their work. I think its important to know the people you claim to be friends with but its also important to not dump them when you might disagree with them. I don't think you can be on line and not share some of yourself, its the price we all pay for privacy.

I personally know all my freinds on facebook. They are either family or friends.
yes, it is very important that you hide personal information. I know of a lady whos id was stolen by somebody just knowing her name and birthday. the theif committed fraud and wrote bad checks in her name.

To be honest I don’t have many friends on Facebook and yet there are a couple that I have never met and do not really know all that well. I am not particularly active there so I don’t even remember how I happened to ‘befriend’ these people (LOL)! Thankfully they seem nice enough...

Hi, lady1993 ^^ so nice to hearing people who talk about Facebook friends list accepted. Yes, I am agree with you about you should know them before you accept them to your profile. I do too! I will not accept who I don't know, even friends of friends of mine if I don't know he/she before. All of my friends in Facebook almost 100% I knew, 99% I meet in person before, 1% of who I have to work with about my business online.
Yes, we have to be careful people about your private pics too. But you can't trust anyone for your private pic because we don't know they mind it true or not.
But I love Facebook ;)
