There are people who almost push you out of the way when they walk by, when you are standing in the path that they are walking or just stand there and stare at you angrily. How hard is it to say "excuse me"? Are you too good for manners? If I am distracted by something please bring it to my attention politely that I need to move. It just frustrates me.

Whoops, responding to this is going to totally ruin my post count. :D
I am having this problem with my son. He's 10 and has autism, and instead of saying "excuse me", he says "move". And if I tell him that's rude, and the polite thing to say is "excuse me", he argues. Thinks it's funny. This morning I told him if I heard him do that again, no computer for the day. I hope that fixes the problem...

I think that all children no matter what the circumstances go through the "move" instead of "excuse me" phase at one time or another, if they are autistic or not. Hopefully it is something that can be fixed but it might take a bit to correct that, no matter the child. At least it did for me when I went through before I finally got manners essentially pounded into my head. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I definitely understand what you are saying. other people will like push you because you are in their way. I mean, I would definitely say "excuse me" if someone else is blocking my way. No need to be rude and just push the person. That is rudeness!

Indeed, both rudeness and laziness as well. How hard is it to say two simple words. It must be a monumental task, because so many people are struggling with such as simple task. Get my attention and I think that I'll move but just trying to remove me forcefully is quite rude. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I get quite annoyed with those people too because its not as if its hard to say excuse me instead of just pushing straight through or past someone. I do wish people would respect others like they used to though because nowadays they only care about themselves. I do find it funny when they think they are better than us just for standing and staring.

The biggest problem is that two simple words, they don't take that long to say. Yet they are in such a rush that its pitiful. I guess common courtesy is something that most people don't think is fashionable these days. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

i have encountered so many people like that in here.. since our place is devided into two religious groups. one is Christian and the other one is ........ what i have about MOST of them, although there are some good mannered and educated, is the fact that they want to dominate to the extent that they wont even say excuse me.. so sick of such kind of people.

Yeah it can be annoying. Not to mention that in the time I take to type this sentence, it takes like about three times or even more to say excuse me. So very frustrating indeed. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
